Fluid mechanics systems have been developed taking into account the needs of scientists from well-known scientific centers, including the selection of key parameters of flow velocity, turbulence, and other related properties at a selected point or on a plane in a wide range of applications, from the simplest to the most complex and the most unfavorable. They allow you to reliably measure the size, velocity, density and volumetric flow rate of spherical particles, droplets or bubbles, to make non-destructive measurements of temperature, concentration and other scalar quantities.

Particle image volumetric velocity systems measure velocities by determining the movement of a particle over a well-defined period of time, using the technique of a two-pulse laser. A laser light knife illuminates a plane in the stream, and the position of particles (naturally present or added to the stream to obtain a sufficient number of reflected signals) in this plane is recorded using a digital camera. A little later (after a few micro- or milliseconds), a second pulse illuminates the same plane, creating a second set of images to measure the particle velocity.

Thermal anemometry systems are an excellent tool for turbulent flow due to its high frequency response for measuring flow fluctuations and the many versions of sensors used in various flow environments.
